Your doctor gave you NovoLog® Mix 70/30 because he or she believes it is right for you. It’s one insulin that works in two ways to help you control your blood glucose. One insulin with one easy delivery
Taking NovoLog® Mix 70/30 means that you only need one insulin to get coverage that lasts, both at mealtime and in between meals, too. Plus, it comes in NovoLog® Mix 70/30 FlexPen®, the preferred prefilled insulin pen.7,8 NovoLog® Mix 70/30 insulin FlexPen®:

Dosage of NovoLog® Mix 70/30
Your doctor will decide how much and how often you should administer your NovoLog® Mix 70/30 dosage. Keep in mind that your insulin needs may vary from day to day, so your doctor may need to make some adjustments to your dosage. Some take their NovoLog® Mix 70/30 dosage just once a day, while others may receive a dosage before breakfast and before dinner - so always follow your doctor's recommendation when it comes to administering your NovoLog® Mix 70/30 dosage. As with all insulins, the most common side effect with NovoLog® Mix 70/30 is hypoglycemia or low blood glucose.

As you begin your NovoLog® Mix 70/30 insulin dosage with our patented FlexPen®, some things to keep in mind include:

  • NovoLog® Mix 70/30 FlexPen® comes in a package with five pens
  • Your NovoLog® Mix 70/30 should be refrigerated until ready for use. Afterward you may keep your FlexPen® at room temperature (less than 86 F) for up to 14 days*
  • Never freeze your NovoLog® Mix 70/30 insulin
  • Check your blood glucose regularly, as directed by your doctor
